Days of Our Lives fans want Jack Deveraux back. Although Jack, who was the husband of Jennifer Horton and father of Abigail and JJ Deveraux, died, if his character were to return, it wouldn’t be the first time that Jack had risen from the grave.
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry , Days of Our Lives has been slowly announcing former characters’ return to the show to celebrate the big 50th anniversary in November, and fans have taken to social media to reveal they want Jack to return as well. The hashtag #BringBackJack has often been used by viewers hoping to get actor Matthew Ashford back in Salem.
While it certainly would be a shock to see Jack return from the grave, that storyline would likely take away from the anniversary celebration, which could be all about Caroline Brady’s illness. As previously reported by the Inquisitr , Caroline falling ill could be the reason that so many fan favorites such as Sami Brady, Bo Brady, Shawn Brady, and Steve “Patch” Johnson are returning to Salem.
However, since the anniversary celebration will have tons of flashbacks and memories for everyone involved, perhaps Jennifer, JJ, and Abigail will see Jack as a spirit instead of having the character return to life. However, if Jack were to return to life, the best bet is that Stefano had something to do with it.
Stefano DiMera has been plotting something involving Abigail and Chad for months now, and it seems that all will be revealed in the near future. Could Jack be a part of that plan?
Another possible story line is that Jack could have faked his death to protect his family from something or someone. Before he died, Deveraux was involved in some interesting things, including being held as a hostage of war. It seems that someone may have wanted to kill him or harm his family.
Back Lot reports that a lot of Salem residents on Days of Our Lives have been going through some rough times , and having old friends and family members back is sure to be a nice distraction from the drama of their everyday lives. Although for some it could create even more drama, like Hope Brady, who will have her son and ex-husband meet her new love interest, Aiden Jennings, when they come home for the anniversary celebration.
