Father’s Day: Caitlyn Jenner’s Children Confused On What To Do
It was four days ago that Caitlyn Jenner revealed herself on the cover of Vanity Fair, burying Bruce forever. Caitlyn has seen and felt support from people all around the world. Most importantly though, her family supports her no matter what. With Father’s Day fast approaching, the Kylie and Kendall Jenner are confused on what they are supposed to do.
A Kardashian family insider spoke with Radar Online about the confusion that the children are dealing with.
“With Father’s Day approaching, several of her kids had to ask Caitlyn if it is still appropriate to make plans to celebrate the day with her. They were told that ‘yes, it is’ still appropriate. Caitlyn told the kids that she will always be their dad and that is never going to change. Caitlyn’s children always try to do something special for Father’s Day and they intend on doing the same again this year. Most likely a brunch at one of her favorite nearby restaurants.”
It appears that a majority of the confusion is concerning what type of gift would be appropriate. The go-to gifts for Father’s Day are usually tools, a tie, or a nice shirt. Those gifts are not going to be appropriate this year for Caitlyn. The Kardashian family insider said, “a necktie is definitely not going to be the appropriate gift, but not everyone is comfortable enough yet to go and get her some lingerie!”
Khloe and Kim Kardashian have already been on a shopping spree for Caitlyn. Khloe says, “I don’t know her taste yet, so I’m trying to figure it out.” Caitlyn is unsure as well.
“Well, to be honest with you, I don’t know her taste either. But do you know how nice this is? Without even opening them. Do you know how nice this is and how much I appreciate it?”
Father’s Day is 17 days away. Kylie and Kendall still have plenty of time to decide what they are going to get as a gift for their father on Father’s Day.
It is not uncommon for women to celebrate Father’s Day with their children if they are a single mother. Caitlyn made it clear that she will always be the girls father, but when Mother’s Day comes around will she want to celebrate that as well?
At the end of the day, Caitlyn and her family are happy with everything that is happening in their lives right now. Deciding what to give their father on Father’s Day will end up being an easy decision for them.
