Reality Star Brandi Glanville Claims Her Jealous ‘RHOBH’ Co-Stars Tried To Get Her Fired

Reality star Brandi Glanville claims her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-stars tried to have her fired after the show’s fan base began to like her. During a recent taping of her podcast, via a June 4 report by Reality Tea, Glanville accused her co-stars of being jealous of her popularity with fans.

“It’s mostly because of envy and of jealousy. I have the hottest girlfriends and we all help each other out. I look at these shows, and I don’t see that happening.”

The reality star didn’t say who it was who attempted to have her fired, but it’s hard to believe that any of her co-stars would be jealous of her. After all, nearly every woman on the show was famous long before they became a reality star.

After joining the Bravo series during its second season, Glanville embraced her new life as a reality star, and quickly became a fan favorite. At the time, fans appreciated her honest attitude and courage to speak her mind. However, as time went on, Glanville appeared to be doing more acting than showing her “real” self, and her popularity on the show took a major hit.

During the podcast taping, Glanville admitted she does things on camera she wouldn’t normally do, explaining she does it for the show, and in an effort to keep her job as a Bravo reality star.

“I worry more about the show itself being boring. If I have to throw myself under the bus, I’ll do it to keep it exciting… I need the job. I don’t have a husband. I have to pay rent. Everyone else on my show is rich. I need the job, so if I have to throw wine and act like an a**hole …”

Although Glanville admitted acts out on the show in order to keep it entertaining, she has criticized Bravo many times for editing her to be the mean girl on the series. As the Inquisitr reported, Glanville most recently slammed the network on Twitter by sharing a re-tweet from a fan. The message was as follows.

“Loved [Brandi Glanville’s] podcast so much I picked up her books. [No] wonder why [Bravo Network] portrays her so badly? She’s so different off #RHOBH.”

Glanville has said on more than one occasion that she needs her job with Bravo to support herself and her kids, but for some reason, she continued to take jabs at the network for making her appear to be more aggressive and mean than she really is.
