Kim Richards Sued Again Over Another Alleged Pit Bull Attack

Kim Richards’ is facing yet another lawsuit in regards to her pit bull. Kelly Crossley filed suit Tuesday against the RHOBH star, alleging she suffered grave bodily injuries as a result of Kingsley attacking her.

According to People, Crossley’s lawsuit, filed Tuesday in Los Angeles, claims Kingsley bit the plaintiff “without warning” at Kim Richards’ home on September 1, 2014. Kelly also maintains Kim knew the dog was dangerous as the pit bull had previously attacked one of the reality star’s friends, and yet Richards, nor her family members, took precautions that could have prevented the attack on Crossley.

As TMZ reports, this is the fourth alleged attack by Kingsley. The dog reportedly bit Kyle Richards’ daughter, Alexia Umansky, whose injury was so severe, she took a year off from college to recover from the dog’s attack, according to Radar Online. The dog’s trainer, David Utter, also claims the dog attacked him.

Kim’s friend, 80-year-old Kay Rozario, recently won her lawsuit against the RHOBH star in regards to an attack she suffered at the mouth of Kingsley, as previously reported by the Inquisitr. Although Rozario sued for $1 million, the court ordered Richards to pay the plaintiff’s medical bills, which totaled $8,083.53.

In her lawsuit, Kelly Crossley maintains after Kingsley attacked her, Kim Richards denied owning the dog and claimed belonged to her ex-husband, Monty Brinson.

Crossley is seeking an unspecified amount in damages that would cover her medical costs related to the attack, damages for pain and suffering, loss of income and punitive damages to “deter future similar conduct.”

Kingsley’s attack of Kyle Richards’ daughter and Kim Richards’ downplaying of the event played a large part in the sisters’ relationship breakdown that fans saw unfold on Season 5 of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. In November, after it became public that the dog bit her niece, the reality star told E! Online she was going to make some tough decisions about Kingsley remaining in her home.

“At this point I am looking at options to what the next step is for Kingsley. As many of you can relate, he is my best friend. This is a very difficult decision and time for all of us, but the safety of my family always comes first.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, as recently as April, the dog was still in Kim Richards’ home, as the RHOBH star allegedly wanted to leave rehab so she could go home and visit with Kingsley.
