Paula Jones: The Clintons Do Not Belong In The White House

Paula Jones said the Clintons do not belong in the White House, as they both reportedly lied amid her sexual harassment case.

In January of 1994, Jones filed a federal lawsuit claiming she was harassed by Bill Clinton while he was governor of Arkansas. A former Arkansas state employee, Jones claims the former president harassed her during a 1991 business trip.

According to her account, Clinton invited her into his hotel room, where he exposed himself and propositioned her for sex.

Three years later, Paula Jones filed a lawsuit against Clinton, seeking $700,000 in damages.

As reported by the Washington Post, the case was settled out of court in November of 1998. As stated in the settlement, Jones agreed to withdraw the lawsuit because Clinton agreed to pay her $850,000.

Seventeen years later, Paula Jones is speaking out against Hillary Clinton’s presidential run. In her opinion, neither of the Clintons belong in the White House, as they “both have lied.”

As reported by Daily Mail, Jones accuses Bill of being a womanizer with a long history of sexual harassment allegations.

“Who would want Bill Clinton back a second time, doing the same stuff he was doing before, philandering with women… There were many women that came out and spoke out about what he did to them. He does not have a place in the White House to serve the American people.”

Paula Jones also blames Hillary for defending her husband and therefore condoning his abhorrent behavior.

“There is no way that she did not know what was going on, that women were being abused and accosted by her husband… She should not be running with the terrible history they have.”

Amid the investigation into Paula Jones’ claims, independent prosecutor Kenneth Starr uncovered allegations that Bill Clinton had a sexual relationship with a 21-year-old intern named Monica Lewinsky.

Although he initially denied the claims, Bill later admitted he and Lewinsky had an inappropriate relationship. As a result, he was accused of perjury and subject to impeachment proceedings.

The House of Representatives voted to impeach Bill Clinton in December of 1998. However, the former president was acquitted by the Senate in 1999.

Bill Clinton finished the rest of his term and left the White House in January, 2001. Fourteen years later, Hillary Clinton announced her candidacy in the 2016 presidential election.

Although the couple weathered years of personal and political stress, Paula Jones does not believe either of the Clintons belong in the White House, as they have “a history of not being truthful.”
