Bruce Jenner Recovering From Sex Change Surgery [Report]

Bruce Jenner is reportedly an official woman. After undergoing a full gender reassignment surgery “over three weeks ago,” an insider has confirmed to Radar Online that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star and former Olympian is now legally female.

“The procedure involved reshaping [Bruce Jenner]’s male genitalia into that of a woman. He was very happy with the results, but didn’t realize how grueling the recovery would be.”

Bruce Jenner revealed his desire to become a woman weeks ago, during an interview with 20/20‘s Diane Sawyer. While chatting with the host, Bruce Jenner explained he had always felt like a female who was forced to live in a male body. The news came after many months of speculation regarding the former athlete’s possible gender change.

According to the insider, Bruce Jenner’s gender reassignment surgery took more than eight hours, and in the days that followed, led to serious pain. At one point, claimed the source, Jenner believed he may have had a urinary tract infection, but luckily, it was nothing more than pain from surgery.

Bruce Jenner may be enduring a gruesome recovery, but according to Radar Online‘s source, he is happier than he’s ever been now that he is legally female.

“Bruce is officially, and for all legal purposes, considered a woman. Bruce’s kids have never seen him so happy. They just wish he would publicly start living as a woman, but contractually, he has to keep it under wraps until the docuseries premieres.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick have reportedly kept their three children away from their grandfather, Bruce Jenner, as he continued his gender reassignment journey. On May 26, a source revealed the following to Radar Online.

“How do you tell a five-year-old that their grandfather is going to be their grandmother? Mason asks a lot of questions and he is super curious about what is going on, but Kourtney and Scott have no idea how to approach this with him. In the meantime, they are not allowing their kids to be around Bruce because it is just too confusing to them.”

Despite the fact that Bruce Jenner is now, technically a female, he will continue to date other females, as he confirmed during his 20/20 interview last month.
