2-Year-Old Boy Falls From Top Of Escalator, Survives [Video]
The 2-year-old boy in this video falls from the top of a shopping mall escalator and lands on the floor below.
As seen in the surveillance video footage, the young boy was apparently playing and running around with a older boy. The older boy made it to the escalator and used the steps to safely travel down to the bottom.
The 2-year-old boy followed the other child to the escalator, but did not hop on one of the steps. Instead, he grabbed hold of the hand railing of the escalator. At first, it seems as if the young boy had a firm grip on the railing until it raised him towards the top of the slope and over the edge.

The young boy looks absolutely helpless as he falls from the railing and lands on the shopping mall floor moments later.
According to Live Leak, the escalator fall occurred last Tuesday in Dongguan, Guangdong Province in China.
“Fortunately, the toddler is now recovering, after several days of life-saving efforts.”
Metro UK reports that the boy fell two stories, knocking him unconscious as shoppers and a man that is presumably the boy’s father rushed to his side.
