Alligator Rips Apart A Man’s Truck: ‘Gator Vs. Truck’ Gets More Than 1.5 Million YouTube Views [Video]

There’s a video going viral on YouTube called “Gator vs. Truck” that shows an alligator ripping apart a truck’s front bumper. The Nissan XE truck driver’s reaction and interesting accent help to make the video priceless.

In “Gator vs Truck,” which was uploaded to the YouTube channel called keet246, an alligator proves he is boss when it comes to going up against a truck. The video has received at least 1,566,842 views, 3,472 thumbs up, and 324 thumbs down since it was published to YouTube on May 21.

In the video, a man can be heard issuing warnings to the alligator on the left side of his truck as he inches forward in the grass, closer to the gator.

“Hey watch my truck!”

The gator’s mouth is wide open in a threatening bite before the man drives forward, but he keeps driving.

“Watch that Nissan.”

Apparently, the gator doesn’t “watch that Nissan” but feels like he wants to take a bite out of the bumper because that’s exactly what the gator does.

“Oh, well that’s nice.”

The Nissan’s driver doesn’t curse, but viewers can sense his frustration at having his truck mangled.

“Son of a gun.”

The 31-second long video is gaining traction online. The article titled “Watch this driver seriously underestimate an alligator” on Mashable has been shared more than 2,100 times. As reported by the publication, the Nissan’s driver didn’t fully take into account just how strong the alligator’s bite could be against his pick-up truck.

Considering the gator’s strong bite, it’s a good thing the driver made it out of there alive in order to publish his video to YouTube. It’s obviously not a great video for Nissan — and don’t expect it to be used in one of their viral ad campaigns any time soon. Instead of putting his car in reverse and immediately backing away from danger, obviously the driver thought his Nissan XE could battle against a gator.

The truck versus alligator YouTube video is so popular as of this writing that it is currently listed in the number 15 spot of the 200 most popular YouTube videos. As reported by the Inquisitr, YouTube videos showing alligators can go quite viral if they have interesting content. Such was the case when a man who wrangled gators for a living got bit by the alligator wearing an ironic T-shirt.
