Jana Kramer, Michael Caussin Are The Newest Married Couple In Country Music
Jana Kramer and Michael Caussin are officially a couple. The country music and TV star said her vows with the NFL tight end on Friday.
Kramer “got the boy” after dating only four months, and she gushed over how he proposed on her birthday in December.
“It was a beautiful surprise. He was the perfect gentleman. Nervous, on one knee, and surrounded by some of the people that love us the most.”
The union between Jana Kramer and Michael Caussin was made official in Charlottesville, Virginia, a first for the 28-year-old Washington Redskins player. The two are optimistic, according to a statement made to US Weekly.
“We feel extremely blessed to have found each other and are so fortunate to have shared our day with close friends and family. We look forward to sharing our lives together.”
One Tree Hill alum Kramer told the press how she’d originally just wanted a simple wedding and changed her mind.
“In the beginning I honestly just wanted to go to the courthouse and do this whole Sarah Jessica Parker, Sex and The City end of the movie kind of thing. But Michael really wanted to have a wedding and once we found the venue I was all in. I just wanted it to be very intimate and beautiful.”
The couple and their fans are hoping it will last this time, since 31-year-old Kramer has been married before. It didn’t work out so well with Michael Gambino and Johnathon Schaech, and this whirlwind romance began almost a year after breaking off her engagement to fellow country music star Brantley Gilbert in August of 2013. Neither of her previous marriages lasted long, a few months each. This time will hopefully be different.

For their individual careers, Jana Kramer and Michael Caussin plan to continue with what works. Caussin plays for the NFL, a prestigious career by itself. Kramer is rumored to be working on a new album following up the success of her 2012 debut.
