Pastor Called Obama’s Mother ‘White Trash’: Says Blacks Don’t Deserve A Black President

Dr. James David Manning, pastor of ATLAH World Missionary Church in New York, is known to be outspoken and a controversial preacher. He criticizes and humiliates his congregation during his sermons. He has taken it too far by calling President Barack Obama’s deceased mother “white trash” and a myriad of other derogatory names. He also blames the president for the recent riots in Baltimore, according to All Christian News.

Manning’s church, ATLAH, which stands for All The Land Anointed Holy, is located on 123rd Street in New York City. The pastor previously compared President Obama to Hitler and Satan. In the same sermon, he called the president’s mother “white trash” for becoming pregnant by a black man out of wedlock.

Manning, who professes to be a man of God, uses his pulpit to express negative thoughts about his own race and his own parishioners while they are sitting in the pews listening to him.

“Black people do not deserve a black president, because young black men feel that they are owed government benefits because their ancestors were slaves, instead of going out and accomplishing something in life.”

The 68-year-old pastor, who hosts a 3-hour broadcast online called The Manning Report, has often criticized President Obama and is known for his attacks on black celebrities and gays. The goal of his broadcast is to attack political leaders, religious leaders, and those in the spotlight.

The Red Springs, North Carolina, native has been the senior pastor of ATLAH since 1981. As a younger man, Manning admits to a string of crimes that landed him in jail for three and a half years. He burglarized more than 100 houses, mostly on Long Island between 1969 and 1974. He spent time in prison in New York and Florida for burglary, robbery, larceny, criminal possession of a weapon, and other charges before his release in 1978. While in prison, Manning says he became a devout Christian, and his past life of crime and imprisonment helped to shape who he is.

Manning claims to hold a Doctor of Philosophy degree from his own ATLAH Theological Seminary, an unaccredited educational institution associated with his church.
