Harry Styles got a little too excited when he learned that One Direction scored the Billboard Music Award for Top Duo/Group. After the band’s name was called on Sunday night, Harry gave Niall Horan’s crotch a somewhat sensuous squeeze.
Luckily, Niall Horan is used to his bandmates being handsy — instead of accusing Harry Styles of sexual assault, he simply laughed off his pal’s playful grab for the goods. You can check out the sly squeeze below.
Needless to say, Directioners had a huge Twitter freak out session over the crotch grab. However, some fans weren’t satisfied with Harry Styles’ choice of band mate to molest. They lamented the loss of their beloved Larry Stylinson, which is the nickname they have given the imagined gay coupling of Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles. Louis and Harry used to be physically affectionate bros, but, as the Inquisitr previously reported, Louis has admitted that the gay rumors made them grow apart.

Unfortunately for Larry Stylinson shippers, Harry and Louis avoided each other yet again later in the night. According to the Mirror, Harry Styles decided to skip Taylor Swift’s Billboard Awards after party. Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Liam Payne had a blast at Swift’s celeb-filled bash, but perhaps Harry thought it would be a bit too awkward to be in the same room as his ex-girlfriend and her new man.
Taylor Swift did her best to show Harry what he’s missing — Cambio found the photo below that shows the “Shake It Off” singer getting cozy with new boyfriend Calvin Harris. It also looks like Niall Horan tried to make Harry Styles jealous by sharing a smooch with Ed Sheeran.

Harry was probably bummed because he had to miss mingling with his pals at Swift’s soiree, but at least he can feel smug about leaving Britney Spears totally star-struck on the red carpet. Sugarscape shared a few social media photos that show Brit-Brit fangirling hard over the British pop star. The look on the face of Justin Timberlake’s ex is pretty priceless, and it’s proof that she still has a thing for those boy band stars.

According to E! News, this year’s Billboard Music Awards marked a big moment for One Direction — it was the band’s first award show without Zayn Malik. Instead of acting like their old friend was dead to them after that ugly Naughty Boy battle, the boy band stars gave Zayn a shout-out and even referred to him as their “brother.”
Maybe Harry Styles grabbed Niall Horan’s crotch simply to put a smile on the faces of all the fans who were sad about Zayn Malik’s absence. What do you think?
