Stassi Schroeder Speaks Out For The First Time After Being Fired From ‘Vanderpump Rules’

Stassi Schroeder will no longer be a part of Vanderpump Rules, but since she was fired last week, she has failed to discuss the issue publicly. On May 18, Stassi Schroeder spoke to Viva Glam Magazine in her first post-firing interview, dishing on her new podcast, Straight Up With Stassi, and avoiding all talk of Vanderpump Rules.

“I really enjoy listening to podcasts and I especially love listening to and watching things that I can relate to. My M.O. has always been to speak exactly what comes to mind,” Stassi Schroeder said of why she decided to do her own show.

Also likely influencing her to become a podcast host is boyfriend Patrick Meagher, who works as a radio show host. Stassi Schroeder has been dating Meagher for about two years, and since meeting him, has begun her podcast and started a fashion blog.

“I really love connecting with people over things that are real. The podcast is mainly centered on unfiltered girl talk. I talk about pop culture and celebrity gossip, but I also really love that so much of the podcast is focused on my personal experiences, whether it involves relationship drama, twitter-hate, or friend conflicts; it’s pretty much my stream of consciousness.”

Stassi Schroeder appeared on Vanderpump Rules for the first two seasons in an official role. However, ahead of Season 3, her role on the show was demoted as she quit her job at SUR Lounge. Throughout Season 3, Stassi Schroeder failed to interact with her co-stars, which has made her firing less than surprising. After all, what use is she if she has no relationship with the other members of the cast?

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Stassi Schroeder’s former manager and co-star, Peter Madrigal, confirmed her exit from Vanderpump Rules last week. During an interview with TMZ, Madrigal claimed he and the rest of the cast, including Lisa Vanderpump, have been done with Stassi Schroeder since she referred to Vanderpump as an “old woman.”

“[Stassi Schroeder]’s not coming back for season four. She dissed Lisa. She dissed everyone from Bravo. She called Lisa an ‘old woman.’ I don’t know what the f*** her problem is. She can go f*** herself at this point.”

Stassi Schroeder has yet to speak on the news of her firing. However, she was noticeably absent from the NBC Upfront, which was attended by her co-stars, including Jax Taylor, Kristen Doute, Katie Maloney, Scheana Marie, and Tom Sandoval.
