Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s Mom Proclaims ‘U.S. Will Burn’ For Son’s Death Penalty Sentence

On May 15, Boston Bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was sentenced to death for his role in the killing of three, and injuring of more than 260 at the 2013 Boston Marathon.

While the many people rejoiced at the sentencing, and some disagreed with the death penalty, there are those who stand behind Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. One of those who continues to support the terrorist is his own mother, Zubeidat Tsarnaeva, who, after Dzhokhar was first sentenced, penned an angry and spiteful letter in which she declared that the “U.S. will pay” for the deaths of her sons Dzhokhar and Tamerlan.

“They will pay for my sons and the sons of Islam, permanently!!! The tears of their mothers will be fuel for them in hell, and also their blood, I am doubtless and eternally glad that I know this from the words of the creator, not just anyone’s words!!!!!!”

Tsarnaev’s mother is at it again — this time, via a WhatsApp message to Zarina Kasenova, a family friend. Kasenova spoke with Vocativ about Tsarnaeva’s threats, and said the Tsarnaev matriarch sent several angry and distressed messages to Dzhokhar’s supporters on the Russian social media site VKontakte. Kasenova said Zubeidat’s messages included the threat that United States will burn “in the flames of an eternal and terrifying fire.”

“They think that they are killing us and they celebrate this,” Tsarnaeva’s WhatsApp message read, “but we are the ones who will rejoice when Allah grants us the chance to behold them in the flames of an eternal and terrifying fire, an otherworldly flame.”

The message was also posted on a group of VKontakte, called “Support Dzhokhar Tsarnaev,” which was started by another Tsarnaev family friend by the name of Timur Raduyev. Raduyev started the group in 2013 to support Tsarnaev and his family, and to raise money for them. He told Vocativ in April that he had raised around $5,000 for the family. Raduyev also frequently posts in the Dzhokhar Tsarnaev support group. Most recently, after Tsarnaev’s death penalty sentence, he wrote “I’m broken – Zubeidat and Anzor, be strong, my family.”

Raduyev is also in contact with the Dzhokhar’s mother, and often posts their messages to the Russian social media site, and it’s very clear by her messages that though it was her children that killed and maimed hundreds during the Boston Marathon, she believes that it’s America who are the terrorists, and her sons were perfect.

“I will never forget it. May god bless those who helped my son. The terrorists are the Americans and everyone knows it. My son is the best of the best.”

Though there are those that believe Dzhokhar Tsarnaev should have received life in prison, rather than the death penalty, at the very least, his victims and their families can perhaps now start to heal, having finally received some closure.
