Leave it to Scott Disick to draw the wrath of the internet for something seemingly innocuous.
The self-styled Lord Disick earned a lot of internet backlash this week, when he apparently insulted his longtime partner Kourtney Kardashian’s post-baby body.
It all started on May 10, when Disick posted a picture to his Instagram account of Kourtney looking fabulous in a white palm print ensemble.
The couple and their children were apparently Mexico-bound for a Mother’s Day vacation. According to the Daily Mail, the couple and their children were guests of family friend and Girls Gone Wild founder, Joe Francis. Pictures emerged of Kourtney clad in a black mockini and looking fabulous, especially considering she had her third child merely six months ago. For reasons that are unclear, Disick made an Instagram post that featured Kourtney in an orange bikini, a photograph that was reportedly taken in 2010. Allegations quickly emerged that the Instagram post was Disick’s passive-aggressive way of reminding Kardashian of how hot she used to be. That is, before she gave birth to his three children. After the vacation, Kourtney Kardashian made new a Instagram post which seemed to suggest that she took Disick’s post to heart.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, sources say that Disick recently adopted a healthy lifestyle in the wake of his rehab stay, and that he has been incredibly hard on Kourtney since then.
Of course, it’s worth noting that it isn’t unusual for Kourtney Kardashian or Scott Disick to use their Twitter and Instagram accounts to smoothly promote products they endorse. According to the Lyfe Tea company website, other celebrities connected to Lyfe Tea include Chritina Milian and Snooki. Nicki Hilton and Holly Madison have also snapped promotional, and presumably compensated, photographs for Lyfe Tea.
Scott Disick also endorses the health tea MateFite. Matefit is billed as the official tea of the UFC.
Only for the Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian could product placement turn into a relationship crisis.
