What is Lisa Vanderpump’s salary for her participation in Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? It’s more than it should be, according to her co-star Brandi Glanville.
In a May 11 report by AllAboutTRH, Glanville claimed she doesn’t understand why Lisa Vanderpump’s salary is more than the rest of the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, aside from Eileen Davidson, when she participates less in cast activities.
Glanville also claimed The Real Housewives of New York City‘s Bethenny Frankel is paid more than she should be, as well.
“There’s this jealousy gene that goes crazy, especially with Ramona and those people who started out with Bethenny. It’s like all of a sudden she’s super fancy. We went through this on my show with Lisa Vanderpump, who barely showed up to anything one year. It was just because she had other shows on, but we were like, ‘Why is she getting paid the most and she does not have to come to anything?'”
Although Lisa Vanderpump’s salary has never been confirmed by Bravo, a Radar Online report last August claimed the restaurant owner made $250,000 for Season 4, and $500,000 for Season 5, which was second only to Eileen Davidson, who was reportedly paid $750,000 for Season 5.
“Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards, and Yolanda Foster are each earning the most at $500,000. Kim Richards and Lisa Rinna will be making $450,000.”
Prior to Season 5, Lisa Vanderpump’s salary wasn’t the only one to be raised. As Radar Online reported, Kyle Richards made $200,000 for Season 4, and her sister, Kim, and Foster, made $100,000. Glanville, according to the Inquisitr, was paid $125,000.
As for Frankel, who returned to The Real Housewives of New York City for Season 7 after taking three seasons off, Radar Online claimed Bravo was paying her a $1 million salary.
“Ramona is absolutely outraged that Bethenny is making a million dollars, especially after her failed talk show, but Bethenny wasn’t going to come back earning less than any of the housewives, and held out to be paid the most.”
Ramona Singer may have had a right to be ticked off. After all, she’s one of the original wives, much like Lisa Vanderpump is to her Beverly Hills franchise, and has remained consistent on the show for its entirety.
While Lisa Vanderpump’s salary is substantial, it doesn’t compare to the $1.5 million NeNe Leakes was reportedly paid for The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 7.
