Child Abduction ‘Social Experiment’ Has Negative Effects On Social Media [Video]

A child abduction “social experiment” has gone viral, but for all the wrong reasons. According to the San Francisco Gate, YouTube star Joey Salads decided to make a video of himself going to parks in NYC and talking to parents about approaching their children with a super cute puppy to teach them a lesson about strangers. Instead, the video had an adverse effect.

“Many are now scrutinizing Salads for using scare tactics, instilling fear and sending a misleading message that a kidnapper is lurking behind every corner.”

According to Think Progress, Joey Salads doesn’t have all of his facts straight. Does that change his social experiment? No. But it should give parents a bit more peace of mind.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, many parents were surprised that their children were so easily taken by a nice guy with a puppy.

The video has gone viral with over five million views on YouTube.
