‘Draw Something’ Now Most Popular Game On Facebook

Do you play Farmville? Words With Friends? How about Draw Something? The new game from Omgpop has only been available for a few weeks but it is already the most popular game on Facebook.

Gamasutra reports that Draw Something, which has only been available for five weeks, still falls behind games like Farmville in terms of monthly users, but on a day-t0-day basis, the new game blows away the competition.

Draw Something currently has 10.8 million daily users. It’s closest competition comes from Zynga’s Words With Friends, which has 8.6 daily users.

The mobile version of the game is also extremely popular. Draw Something has been at the top of both the Android and iOS charts for free and paid games. And with more than 20 million downloads, Omgpop is now bringing in 6-figure revenues every day.

CEO Dan Porter said: “It’s the number one app in 79 countries — I can’t even name 79 countries!”

According to the Business Insider, users have created more than 1 billion drawings on Draw Something. The game has brought in more revenue for Omgpop in the last five weeks than the company made in all of 2011.
