‘Real Housewives’ Ramona Singer And Husband Mario Are Reportedly At War: Divorce Update

Real Housewives star Ramona Singer is caught in the middle of a messy divorce from husband Mario. On May 6, Radar Online reported that Mario is doing what he can to get as much money and property from Ramona in their divorce.

“Mario is trying to take Ramona for everything she worked so hard to achieve. Ramona earned a lot of the money and he’s going after it.”

According to the report, Mario wants the couple’s home in Southampton, as well as their New York City apartment, even though it was the Real Housewives star who bought the homes.

“Mario is becoming the woman and wants to be taken care of financially in the divorce… Mario is even saying that his business isn’t worth anything. Mario has decided not to work so much and to dial down his income.”

In 2013, after many years of marriage, the Real Housewives star’s husband began an affair with 31-year-old Kasey Dexter, a socialite and fitness instructor in New York City. Although the Real Housewives couple attempted to reconcile their marriage after reports of Mario’s infidelities first hit the web, Singer ultimately filed for divorce in January of 2014. Months later, however, the couple was back on again, and doing their best to move forward from the affair. Then, in July 2014, the Real Housewives star reportedly caught Mario with his mistress yet again, and filed for divorce a second time.

Now, it appears the Real Housewives star’s earnings could be at stake — despite Mario’s straying ways.

“Ramona has always been the breadwinner. She earned the majority of the assets they had together. It’s only fair that they stay with her. Hopefully Mario and Ramona will resolve this divorce soon so that they both can get on with their lives for the sake of their daughter.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, the Real Housewives star recently began dating again, and according to a new interview, she prefers being set up. Speaking to People Magazine, Singer revealed what she’s looking for in a man.

“If on the first date, if he doesn’t help me with my coat, then I don’t want to be with him. I like a man who is attentive from the very beginning. If he’s not, then you don’t want him.”
