Beyonce, Jay-Z Photobombed At Met Gala By Man Eating Pizza, Whole World Points And Laughs
The Met Gala is one of the most eagerly anticipated events of the social and fashion calendar. Celebrities across the globe, from all different mediums, go to great lengths and spend millions of dollars dolling up in order to showcase their fashion acumen and to look spectacular. But despite all of that effort, it just takes one guy nonchalantly eating a slice of pizza and checking his phone to photobomb you, and all of your best efforts are immediately ruined.
It’s not often that you get the chance to feel sorry for Beyonce and Jay-Z, but the aforementioned scenario is exactly what happened to the pair while they expertly posed for the gathered press on the red carpet for the 2015 Met Gala.

Beyonce and Jay-Z have been roundly praised by fashionistas and experts for their attire at the Metropolitan Museum Of Art’s Costume Institute. However, that was all lost on the above individual who decided to devour a slice of greasy pepperoni pizza rather than analyze and appreciate the clothes that the pair had on.
After the picture was uploaded to the world wide web, the unknown man immediately started to steal the limelight away from Beyonce and Jay-Z, as Twitter lit up with people poking fun and pointing out his inopportune snack break. One user even took to Instagram to write, “In WHAT WORLD is this his moment for pepperoni pizza???” The answer to which there is never not a right moment for pepperoni pizza.
I suppose being upstaged by a pizza is much better publicity for the pair than after last year’s event when they were inundated with rumors and speculation after it emerged that Beyonce’s sister, Solange, had hit her brother-in-law repeatedly following an altercation at the after-party.
The world wideweb manhunt is now on to try and find the true identity of the pizza-eater. However, Beyonce and Jay-Z’s photo-bomber wasn’t the only individual to spark pizza-themed viral content immediately after the 2015 Met Gala.
Rihanna’s extravagant canary yellow gown by Guo Pe was instantly ridiculed because of its elaborate train, and one of the most popular memes saw it redesigned as the base of a pizza.
