“Jewcan Sam” Video has Doctor In Hot Water [Video]

Michael Salzhauer, a plastic surgeon based in Miami and self dubbed “Dr. Shnoz” has come out with a YouTube video to promote his business called “Jewcan Sam,”. It is a ridiculous video featuring a man with a yarmulke with a big nose being rejected by a blonde model. Then the hero comes and gives him a nose job and everything works out for him.

The doctor, the band and the videographer are all orthodox Jews.

But the American Society of Plastic Surgeons didn’t find the spot so funny. They are investigating Dr. Salzhauer for failing to uphold their ethical code. If found guilty he may be decertifed.

Salzhauer told The Huffington Post earlier Wednesday,

“That’s what the band wanted. I didn’t want to impinge on their creativity.”

Salzhauer gave the lead actor in the video, Groggers frontman L.E. Doug Staiman, a nose job for free as part of the deal. Staiman’s transformation from large nosed victim to small nosed hunk is noted in the video.

Farrell Goldsmith, the videographer who shot the movie, told The Huffington Post on Thursday.

“The bottom line is [Salzhauer] is being wrongly accused of being unethical. I’ve never met a more ethical and decent person. It’s more than bizarre that he’s being investigated.”

Dr. Salzhauer is no stranger to the media. He went through the full media treatment when he wrote a book explaining plastic surgery to children called “My Beautiful Mommy”
