‘Vanderpump Rules’ Tom Sandoval And Ariana Madix Take Big Step In Relationship

Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix aren’t just boyfriend and girlfriend and co-stars on Vanderpump Rules, they’re also roommates. As reported by The Daily Dish on Wednesday, Ariana recently officially moved out of her Los Feliz apartment and into Tom’s West Hollywood apartment.

Finances were apparently a big reason why they decided to take the leap. Ariana also said that they’re next goal is to actually buy a property together. Unfortunately for them, buying a place may take longer than they want since they have an affinity for spending money on fun.

“My boyfriend and I moved in together and his apartment in West Hollywood is rent controlled, so I considerably downsized my rent payment to live in a bigger apartment. Hopefully we’ll be able to buy a place eventually. That’s the dream. We’re saving all that rent money so that we can buy a place, but really we spend it on, like, booze and vacations.”

The apartment that Ariana Madix is now living in is likely the one that Tom Sandoval previously shared with now ex-girlfriend Kristen Doute. Kristen’s long-term relationship with Tom imploded during the filming of the second season of Vanderpump Rules, during which it was revealed that Kristen, who suspected that Tom and Ariana were involved with one another, actually slept with Jax Taylor twice. After Tom and Kristen’s breakup, Tom and Ariana became an item.

Kristen’s action with Jax not only cost her the relationship with Tom, it also cost her the close friendship with Jax’s ex-girlfriend, Stassi Schroeder. Yet Kristen and Stassi may again be friends in the future. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Kristen admitted during her Watch What Happens Live appearance in early March that while she and Stassi are not BFFs again, they “do get along” and are “friendly” with one another.

In an interview with Us Weekly that was posted in early April, Kristen shared photos of her new apartment. After moving out of Tom’s apartment in January 2014, Kristen lived in a temporary apartment and then stayed for a while at her current boyfriend’s place. Kristen explained that it was important for her to have her own place rather than continuing to live with new beau James Kennedy.

“This apartment is my very first space completely on my own. It was overwhelming moving in by myself, but also so liberating. It was a blank canvas in more ways than one. Not only did I get to decorate my space however I wanted, it was also a chance to start over with new memories and new, positive energy…[James] stays over a lot, but I’m not ready to live with anyone. I think it’s important for me to really work on me. It’s proven to be healthy for our relationship.”

Kristen Doute, whose future on Vanderpump Rules is in question since she was fired from SUR last season, also managed to make a dig at her ex Tom Sandoval. Ariana Madix may now be spending more time cleaning than she did at her previous residence.

“I wake up every morning with a smile on my face knowing that I no longer live in a total dump cleaning up after someone else!”
