Lennox Little League Rejects Season Saving Donation From Strip Club

The little league season in Lennox, Califonia, has been delayed several times due to budget constraints, but last week a group of kindhearted strippers at the Jet Strip Cabaret donated $1200 to save the league. Unfortunately, league president Roberto Aguirre wasn’t comfortable with where the money came from and has decided to return the check in order to keep the game clean.

Instead, Aguirre is “looking up in the sky and hoping for something great” to happen so that the boys in California can play baseball this Summer.

Aguirre said:

“This morning we found out exactly where the check came from. It was a shocker to us.”

The Huffington Post reports that the Lennox School District will return the check to the strip club and will hope that other businesses in the area step up to cover the costs of the little league.

The Los Angeles Times notes that the Jet Strip Cabaret has a history of good deeds. Unfortunately, they also have a history of being turned down. Money from the strip club has been turned down by several charities, including the Make A Wish Foundation and the Special Olympics.

Before the money was rejected by the Lennox School District, Jet Strip Cabaret general manager James Wallace said:

“We felt like it was going to be a big disappointment for the kids, and they definitely need positive activities in all areas… It’s a good feeling to know that you can help and that it means something to somebody.”

What do you think of the Lennox Little League rejecting the strip club’s season saving donation?
