‘Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’ Kim Richards Says Kyle Texted Her For The First Time In Months After Her Arrest

The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star Kim Richards claims her sister, Kyle, reached out to her, via text message, after her April 16 arrest. According to an April 28 report by Radar Online, Kim updated fans on her relationship with Kyle during her recent interview on Dr. Phil.

“I hadn’t even seen my sister in five months,” Kim told the doctor of the moment she and Kyle came face to face at the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 5 reunion.

During the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion, Kim and Kyle butted heads over Kim’s dog’s attack on her daughter, Alexia Umansky. At the time of the attack in November of last year, Kyle shared a couple of photos of her daughter in the hospital, but didn’t reveal what had happened. A short time later, however, the press got a hold of the information, and shared report after report regarding the dog’s attack. While Kyle claimed she had nothing to do with publicizing the attack, Kim felt differently, and accused her of posting photos in an effort to gain Instagram followers. She also alleged the child suffered nothing more than a “little bite,” despite her need for multiple surgeries.

While the pair hadn’t spoken prior to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and didn’t speak in the weeks after, Kim revealed Kyle reached out last week, following her drunken arrest at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

“She actually texted me after my arrest for the first time in five months. She asked me if I was ok. I haven’t spoken to her … It’s been a bad year for us.”

In addition to Kim and Kyle’s issues involving her pit bull, Kim claims she and Kyle are also at odds over her failure to defend her sobriety. During The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 5, many of Kim’s co-stars were concerned about a possible relapse, and when Kyle didn’t speak up, Kim was offended.

“It hurts me. When I took the pain pill she took me to lunch to say Lisa Rinna had been talking about me … The way my sister told me, I was hurt, I was confused.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Monty Brinson recently admitted to giving Kim a Vicodin during filming on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. According to AllAboutTRH, this was the first time Brinson had spoken out about his ex-wife’s recent sobriety struggles.

The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills has yet to officially be renewed for Season 6.
