Victoria’s Secret Announces 10 New Angels

Victoria’s Secret has announced the names of the 10 models who will be added to their roster of Supermodel Angels.

The new models will be replacing former Angels Doutzen Kroes and Karlie Klos, who are set to depart from the lingerie giant this year. The new supermodels will be joining the already established Angels, Lily Aldridge, Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, Behati Prinsloo, and Candice Swanepoel.

“Karlie is stepping down from her Angel duties,” a source close to Kloss told People Magazine earlier this year. “She’s got a busy but exciting year ahead and the decision came down to timing. She’ll be focusing on her modeling career, new business opportunities and NYU starting in the fall.”

The newest Angels are:

Kate Grigorieva

Taylor Hill

Elsa Hosk

Martha Hunt

Jac Jagaciak

Stella Maxwell

Lais Ribeiro

Sara Sampaio

Romee Strijd

Jasmine Tookes

Victoria’s Secret made the announcement in a press release that was published on Tuesday, April 28. All of the newbies walked in the label’s 2014 show, according to the New York Post.

“The expanded Angel lineup gives Victoria’s Secret the largest group of contract models in its history and the most powerful collection of established and emerging models in the world,” the release read.

Victoria’s Secret also took to Twitter to share their exciting news with their followers.

Victoria’s Secret also announced that May 2 will be their inaugural International Bombshells Day.

“The brand will offer exclusive, limited time specials at stores, and online at VictoriasSecret.com. Women are encouraged to pamper themselves, embrace their “inner Bombshell”, spend time with friends and, maybe, do a little shopping.”
