It’s official 90210 actress Jennie Garth, 38, and Twilight hunk Peter Facinelli, 39, are calling it quits!
The couple made a joint statement to Gossip Cop stating, “While we have decided to end our marriage, we both share the same deep love and devotion to our children. We remain dedicated to raising our beautiful daughters together. We ask for privacy and respect during this time.”
This isn’t the first time rumors circulated about the couple’s problems. Last July Perez Hilton leaked a story out about the couple living apart, which was later denied.
Jennie and Peter met while filming the 1996 film An Unfinished Affair and the couple wed in 2001. Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli have three children, Luca Bella, 14, Lola Ray, 9, and Fiona Eve, 6.
The divorce announcement is right on the heels of Jennie Garth’s new reality show, Jennie Garth: Little Bit Country , which documents her family’s move to a California Farm. It’s unknown whether or not the show will chronicle the couple’s troubles but we’ll find out when the show premieres later next month on CMT.
This is the second divorce for Dancing With The Stars contestant, Jennie Garth, and the first for Peter Facinelli.
