What Happened To Abbey Russell? Minnesota Woman Missing Under Suspicious Circumstances
Authorities in Stillwater, Minnesota, are looking for 24-year-old Abbey Russell. The missing woman was reportedly last seen around midnight on Friday night at her home around the area of Highway 95 and Poplar Street. ABC 5 Eyewitness News reports that she hasn’t been located by authorities, even after extensive ground and air searches. So, where is this missing woman?
The circumstances surrounding Abbey’s disappearance aren’t entirely known, but it’s being reported that she was reported missing at around 2:00 a.m., Saturday morning — approximately two hours after she was last seen. ABC 6 News reports that the 24-year-old is approximately 5’7? and about 150 lbs., with long brown hair and green eyes. She also reportedly has multiple tattoos, including one on her arm and one on her ribcage.

Some of the people in her community claim that she’s new, having just moved to the area from Florida a couple of weeks ago. The Duluth News Tribune shares more details about what she was doing leading up to her disappearance. Apparently, she had worked until 5:00 p.m. Friday at her job as a server at Pub 112 in Stillwater. After that, she went out with friends. It’s not known where she went and what she did with her friends, and reports aren’t identifying these people. She reportedly headed home after hanging out with them, though.
Her father, Ken Russell, says that she stepped out at around midnight, but never came back in the house. Her mother reported her missing at around 2:00 a.m., but they aren’t clarifying on what circumstances led her to leave the home, or why they panicked and called police after only two hours.
