Sandra Bullock On ‘Most Beautiful Woman’ Award: ‘I’ve Never Been A Great Beauty’

It’s no surprise that the lovely Sandra Bullock has just been named “World’s Most Beautiful Woman” by People Magazine. When she heard the news, Sandra laughed it off, but she really shouldn’t be so shocked. After all, she has been named one of People‘s “50 Most Beautiful People in the World” in 1996 and 1999, placed in “The Top 100 Movie Stars of all Time” list by Empire in 1997, ranked in “The 100 Most Influential People in the World” by Time in 2010, and the list goes on.

Whether the world believes she is the most beautiful woman or not is inconsequential to Sandra Bullock. In her opinion, true beauty comes from the inside.

“I’ve never been a great beauty. I’ve never been a bombshell that was coveted.

“Real beauty is quiet… The people I find most beautiful are the ones who aren’t trying.”

Sandra’s sister, Gesine Bullock-Prado, is her choice for most beautiful woman, reports the Daily Mail.

“I’m surrounded by some of the most beautiful women. My sister is absolutely gorgeous. Her kindness and sweetness are beyond compare; she is irritatingly smart, unwaveringly open-minded and loves me like nobody’s business.”

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, as the old saying goes, and Sandra Bullock believes being beautiful is more than having features arranged in an aesthetically pleasing manner. The most beautiful attributes a woman, or a man, can have are vulnerability, honesty, kindness, and “the ability to laugh at yourself.”

By far, the most beautiful thing in her life is her five-year-old son, Louis Bardo Bullock. Believe it or not, Sandra questions her mothering skills just like any other woman does.

“Am I the mother my son deserves? And am I living my authentic life, am I good enough, working hard enough, am I able to keep my son safe? Did I pick up all the dog poo before the playdate?”

Louis has taught his mother the meaning of true love, says Sandra Bullock. When asked what she believes to be her most beautiful quality, she responded that being mom to Louis was the most beautiful thing about her. It’s plain to see that kindness, while high on her list of most beautiful qualities in others, is ingrained within Sandra as well.

“No, be a good person, be a good mom, do a good job with the lunch, let someone cut in front of you who looks like they’re in a bigger hurry.”

People could not have chosen a more worthy woman than Sandra Bullock to honor as the “World’s Most Beautiful Woman.” Sandra Bullock’s beauty glows from the inside out.
