Star Destroyer Craigslist Ad Mocks ‘Star Wars 7’ Trailer, Millennium Falcon No Longer The Biggest Hunk Of Junk [Photo]

Want a slightly used Imperial Star Destroy? A Craigslist ad is offering to sell a remnant of the Empire based upon the official Star Wars: The Force Awakens 7 trailer, and already it has gone viral all over social media.

In a related report by the Inquisitr, George Lucas may not have much control over Star Wars anymore, but based upon the trailers, some are wondering if Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine are making a comeback.

One thing is for certain. The Millennium Falcon is no longer the biggest hunk of junk, although whether or not its still the fastest hunk of junk is something only true Star Wars fans would debate. Already, some fans are saying that no real smuggler would attempt to take the Star Destroyer on the Kessel run.

Regardless of fan debates, everyone can agree this Star Destroyer Craigslist ad is simply funny. At least three different versions have popped up in Pittsburgh, New Orleans, and Humboldt, California in the RV section. In each case, someone went out of there way to include the tiny details that you may find in an ad for a used car.

“Fully equipped with LeGrange targeting computers, heavy ion cannons, Phylon Q7 tractor beam projectors, leather bucket seats, and a 15 disc cd changer,” one ad reads. “As you can see by the picture provided, the deflector shield generator domes are intact. That is a state of the art ISD-72x.”

The humor continues with one Craigslist ad proclaiming what you could do with your slightly used Star Destroyer once it is fixed up.

“This beauty was ran with a crew of 37,085 but you can pull it off with a minimum of 5000 leaving you plenty of room to pack in a few extra AT-AT walkers, TIE starfighters, prefabricated garrison bases, Lambda-class shuttles, yards of soil, spool after spool of pipe, and jet skis. This superstructure is perfect for long road trips with the family, discovering new galaxies, picking up girls for dates, and general destruction of your enemies. Have you ever seen what a Star Destroyer can do to the surface of an unshielded planet? Stones run like water and sand turns to glass. With just a little TLC, this baby can be good as new.”

Either everyone is in on the same joke, or perhaps a clever marketing perhaps created the Imperial Star Destroyer Craigslist ad in order to compliment the official Star Wars 7 trailer. What do you think?
