MTV Star Jeremy Calvert Did Not Attend Leah Messer’s Sister’s Wedding: ‘Teen Mom 2’ Divorce Update

MTV star Jeremy Calvert was not in attendance when his sister-in-law, Victoria Messer, tied the knot over the weekend. Amid reports claiming his marriage to Teen Mom 2‘s Leah Messer has come to an end, Calvert was nowhere in sight during Victoria’s big day.

As The Ashley’s Reality Roundup reported on April 20, the MTV star has reportedly distanced himself from the Messer family and may not have been invited to Victoria’s wedding to Brian Jones.

With the MTV star presumably working in Ohio where he is often stationed as a pipe layer, Victoria married Jones at the West Virginia State Capitol Building in Charleston, West Virginia, with sister Leah Messer serving as her maid of honor.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, the MTV star’s wife is reportedly headed to rehab, after a months-long struggle with prescription medication. Although Messer has yet to address the In Touch Weekly report, a source claimed, via Radar Online, that a decision had already been made.

“She’s confessed to Jeremy that she has a problem, and knows she has no other choice than to go to rehab immediately.”

According to the report, the MTV star’s wife, whom he married three years ago, could chronicle her journey to rehab on the upcoming sixth season of Teen Mom 2.

“MTV would foot the bill and force Leah into rehab because the network loves her. They last thing they want to see is her going down the same dark path that [co-stars] Amber Portwood and Jenelle Evans did.”

If Messer does go public with her allegedly upcoming rehab stint, however, it could prove costly when it comes to her relationship with her three daughters, Ali, Aleeah, and Adalynn. In fact, the MTV star is reportedly already planning to fight Messer for the custody of their 2-year-old child.

“[Jeremy Calvert]’s going to be seeking primary custody.”

As fans of Teen Mom 2 saw during Season 5, Messer was involved in a custody battle with her first husband, Corey Simms, at the end of last year. Because of Messer’s on-screen behavior, which involved a questionable scene involving her prescription pill use (the MTV star was prescribed anxiety medication early on during the season), Simms and wife Miranda hoped to get full custody of the twins. However, it doesn’t appear that happened — at least not yet.

For more of the MTV star, tune into Teen Mom 2 Season 6, when it returns to the network later this year.
