‘GTA 5’ And Online: The New Rockstar Editor And Other Cool Customizables

Grand Theft Auto 5 (GTA 5) for PC was finally released to millions of eager gamers last Tuesday but it was just the beginning of a whole new lot of Rockstar coolness.

One of the newest features of GTA 5 coming exclusive to Windows users is the Rockstar Editor, a tool that will allow the gamer to capture and edit gameplay in GTA 5. Gamers of the past have always needed to turn to a number of devices and programs that would allow them to record playthroughs and create movies but as Gospel Herald reports, this new editor will do the job easily and in full GTA definition.

Rockstar Editor includes two capture modes—Manual mode allows the user to turn the recording on and off throughout the gamer’s GTA 5 gameplay, while Action Replay will pick and capture key moments from the game. There are tons of tools and edits available in this GTA 5 editor, from special effects and audio, to text and camera angles. Usual video and photo editing tools will also be available like vignette, saturation, contrast, filters, etc. The user will be able to record and edit any GTA 5 moment easily and share it with friends online.

GTA 5‘s Rockstar Editor also comes with a Director mode, where users can create their own scenes. They can change the time, weather, vehicle density, pedestrians, and all kinds of things to create and capture a unique GTA experience.

The bulk of game time in GTA online and offline is spent driving and the usual (and most often tasteless) radio stations can get pretty tiring. IGN outlines the step-by-step procedure in creating a customized radio station for your GTA online and offline gaming.

-Open the Rockstar Games folder in My Documents ( [LOCAL DISK] > Users > My Documents > Rockstar Games )
-Open the GTA V folder

-Open the User Music folder.
-Copy or move the desired audio files into the User Music folder.
-(At least 3 audio files are required.
-Switch to GTA 5.
-Select Self Radio as your radio station.

(The game should automatically detect your audio files and add the Self Radio. Complete the following additional steps:)
-Open the Pause menu and go to the Settings tab.
-Select Audio.
-Select Perform Quick Scan or Perform Full Scan for music.

INC Gamers reports there are more ways to customize your GTA 5 gaming experience. Rockstar has finally released the GTA 5 mobile app available to iOS and Android phones.

Lost Santos Customs app is the answer to every GTA player’s dream—to build their ultimate vehicle. Upgrade every part of your favorite GTA car from engine and lights to paint jobs and window tints. The possibilities are literally endless. The user can even create and reserve custom license plates. The customized vehicle and plate could be imported in GTA 5 and GTA online

Chop the Dog app gives the gamer access to a virtual pet, Chop. Chop is the pet dog of Franklin in GTA 5 and playing as him on the game will reap benefits if you take care of Chop in the app. INC Gamerslists a couple of perks in playing GTA 5 if Chop is well cared for through the app.

-He will be more helpful and responsive to Franklin
-He will perform tricks such as sitting, begging and giving paw if properly trained through the app
-He will sniff out the nearest hidden items when the player takes him for a walk
-Earn enough credits through walks and proper caretaking and exchange them for new collars for Chop

Rockstar has indeed outdone itself in creating the ultimate GTA 5 and Online experience for its supporters. And with updates and patches released frequently, gamers are expecting more are about to come to the GTA 5 and Online worlds.
