Miranda Lambert: ACM Star Shows Off Hot Bod Before Baby?
Miranda Lambert was a standout at the ACM awards, but was this her last big night before getting pregnant? Since divorce rumors have subsided, it makes sense that baby rumors would kick into high gear. According to OK! Magazine, sources say that Miranda and her husband of four years, Blake Shelton, are gearing up for a baby.
“The couple has been through rough patches here and there, but now Blake has slowed down his partying and is prioritizing his wife and future family above all else,” reports OK! Magazine. Previously, it didn’t seem like Blake was interested in starting a family, but sources say that he has since changed his tune.
Miranda Lambert looked smokin’ hot at the ACM awards on Sunday night, and she has worked super hard to get into shape. According to People Magazine, Lambert had four different outfit changes, many more than her husband, who co-hosted the show with Luke Bryan. The maybe-mama-to-be took home five ACM Awards, proving that she has still got it when it comes to country music. Many think that she really wanted to release another album (Platinum), and go on tour one more time before settling down to start a family.
Miranda and Blake have reportedly been at odds when it comes to deciding whether or not to start a family. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Miranda was pretty unhappy with her husband when he went on Ellen, and when asked if he wanted to have a baby, he responded, “no.”
“Blake knows how important being a mom is to Miranda, but he just put that out there on national TV! Miranda told him, ‘Couldn’t you just have just said, we’ll see? Miranda is willing to put her career on hold, but Blake’s just scared of change,” explained a friend at the time.
It is possible that Blake and Miranda both don’t want to have children, but at 31, Miranda really has to start thinking about what she wants to do when it comes to procreating — especially if she would like to have more than one child. However, sources say that having a baby is important to Miranda, and that the time has come for the couple to start trying. Miranda is on tour through the beginning of September, so perhaps she and Blake will have some baby news by Christmas.
