Pulitzer Prize Winners 2015 Announced

The list of Pulitzer Prize winners for 2015 has been announced, and many of the winners are somewhat predictable if you kept up with all of the nominations — and actually read, watched, saw, or heard all of the nominations. You can also see all of the finalists for the 2015 Pulitzer Prize winners below — this year being the 99th annual celebration.

Probably the most interesting win is a series by Eric Lipton on aggressive efforts by lobbyists and lawyers to push state attorneys general to drop investigations, change policies, negotiate favorable settlements, or pressure federal regulators to benefit their clients. It shared the prize with the Wall Street Journal, which won its first Pulitzer Prize in recent years for a project that revealed to Americans previously confidential data “on the motivations and practices of their health care providers,” according to the New York Times, who took home three awards this year.
