Fairfield, California Amber Alert Issued For 8-Year-Old Boy Taken From His Home While Asleep In The Car [Video]


An Amber Alert has been issued in Fairfield, California after an 8-year-old boy was abducted from his home, police say.

On Monday morning, at approximately 6:45 a.m., the Amber Alert system was activated in five Northern California counties, Solano, Yolo, Contra Costa, Sacramento, and Napa.

According to the California Highway Patrol, Brock Guzman was kidnapped by an unknown assailant at around 4:45 a.m., KCRA reports.

Guzman was asleep in the back of his father’s Toyota Corolla when someone got in the drivers seat and took off from his mother’s home in the 1000 block of Meadowlark Drive. His father explained that he had left his son in the car with it running while he went into the house for just a moment. That is when, his father says, Brock was taken.

Guzman has been described as a while male measuring 5-feet 1-inch tall and weighing about 110 pounds. He has blonde hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a grey shirt with blue pants. Currently, there are no descriptions of the suspect.

The vehicle is being described as a 2001 four-door Toyota Corolla with a California license plate number reading 5BWF072.

Anyone who has seen this child or the vehicle is being urged to immediately dial 911 or contact the Fairfield Police Department directly at 707-428-7300.
