Cissy Houston Wants Bobbi Kristina Off Life Support, Bobby Brown Says His Daughter Is ‘Awake’ Now
Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unconscious in her Atlanta home on January 31 this year. Since then, Whitney Houston’s 22-year-old daughter has been put under a medically induced coma as family members held on to the hope that one day she would wake up. That day might have finally come.
During a Maze concert featuring Frankie Beverly, Bobbi Kristina’s father Bobby Brown announced that his daughter has finally recovered. In three simple words, the singer revealed that “Bobbi is awake.”
He also confirmed that his daughter is indeed well enough as he told the crowd, “She’s watching me.”

However, statements from Bobbi Kristina’s 81-year-old grandmother seem to be in contradiction with her father’s news. Last March 25, Cissy Houston told New York’s WBLS 107.5 FM that they are moving her granddaughter to an undisclosed rehabilitation facility.
Cissy said, “We’ve moved her to a place of rehabilitation. And you know, still not a great deal of hope. (We’re) still praying.”

These conflicting statements from Bobbi Kristina’s father and grandmother clearly reflect the family feud between Bobby and the Houstons, specifically with Cissy and Bobbi Kristina’s aunt Pat. Reports from last week said that the three are debating whether Bobbi Kristina should be taken off life support or not.
Bobbi Kristina’s family has expressed their choice to keep the 22-year-old on life support but Cissy and Pat have been persistent in convincing Bobby that life support “may not be the best option.”
A source explained, “Of course Bobby wants Krissy to wake up and return to her life. That’s all he wants. But there doesn’t seem to be a lot of hope and the Houston family is resigned to the fact that keeping Krissy on life support may not be the best option.”
Since Bobby is in charge of making all the medical decisions for Bobbi Kristina, the source said that the Houstons think that Bobby’s decision of keeping her on life support is not the best thing.
However, there are some people who are not buying the concern expressed by the Houston Family. In some reports, Pat and Crissy are alleged to have a hidden agenda concerning Bobbi Kristina’s inheritance.
According to sources, the Houston family is after Bobbi Kristina’s $20 million inheritance from her mother, the late diva Whitney. The sources claim that the family thinks that for every second that Bobbi Kristina remains on life support, they are losing money.
