Kyle Richards And Lisa Vanderpump Defend Against False Media Reports In Wake Of Kim Richards’ Arrest

Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump spoke out Thursday against false media reports in the wake of Kim Richards’ arrest. Both Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ stars deny accusations made in a report put out by a celebrity gossip website.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Kyle and Kim’s feud continued after filming for the fifth season of RHOBH had ended. According to a new report by Radar Online, a source close to the sisters shared that Kim’s arrest Thursday morning has made no difference to the sisters’ fractured relationship as Kyle allegedly refuses to speak to her sister, even after her arrest, and that she is leaving it up to their sister Kathy to talk Kim into getting professional help.

“The whole family has been worried about Kim. Kyle has been saying that Kim needs help for months and she wasn’t shocked when she learned she got arrested. She wants their sister Kathy [Hilton] to help convince Kim to get treatment and to face her issues. She isn’t talking to Kim right now.”

Kim Richards’ family never thought she was sober, according to the source, so it came as no surprise to hear that the reality TV star was allegedly drinking vodka tonics all night before her arrest.

Minutes after Radar Online published the story, however, Kyle Richards took to Twitter to call out the celebrity gossip website for putting out information that is simply not true.

Lisa Vanderpump also took to Twitter after the reading the article to defend her friends and other RHOBH cast members.

Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards were not the only cast members of RHOBH to express their thoughts on Kim’s arrest via Twitter on Thursday. Although Lisa Rinna’s questioning of Kim Richards’ sobriety, or lack thereof, caused a lot of friction between the two stars, Rinna did not take the opportunity to say, “I told you so,” as many fans of the show thought she would.

Even though Eileen Davidson’s relationship with Kim Richards fared no better than Rinna’s during the fifth season of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she too expressed condolences to her co-star and the family.

TMZ broke the news Thursday morning regarding Kim Richards’ arrest for “allegedly going on a drunken rampage and kicking a police officer.” According to TMZ, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star faces charges of trespass, resisting arrest, battery on a police officer, and being drunk in public. Police issued Kim a citation and released her. Richards is reportedly due in court on May 10.

Kyle Richards has yet to make a public statement in regards to her sister’s arrest.
