Has Madonna’s 24-Year-Old Beau Proposed?

Is Madonna about to get engaged again? The Daily Mail reports that the 53-year-old is considering a marriage proposal from her French dancer boyfriend Brahim Zaibat.

Toyboy Brahim, who at 24 years old is almost thirty years younger than the pop legend, reportedly popped the question three weeks ago at the New York Kabbalah Centre (obviously). But Madonna’s in no hurry to give her answer. A source told the Mail:

“Madonna hasn’t given him an answer yet. She doesn’t want to rush into anything. She is very happy with Brahim, although her friends are not sure she is ready for marriage again.”

Her friends may have a point. In 2008, following her split from Guy Ritchie, the singer told David Letterman, “I think I’d rather get run over by a train [than marry again].” Could she be reconsidering her non-marriage vow? The Mail‘s mole also tells the paper that, “Madonna has a real fear of being on her own. It’s a major issue for her, and she loves having a man in her life who is young and makes her feel young.” Hm.

If the Material Girl does get hitched again, this will be marriage number three. Her first marriage, to actor Sean Penn, broke down in 1987, and then came the messy divorce from Ritchie. Since Ritchie, she has tended to date younger men, including Zaibat and 22-year-old Brazilian model Jesus Luz (who she split from in late-2010).

Her rep has refused to respond to enquiries about another Madge marriage.
