Beverly Hills Reunion Drama: Kim Richards Blames Kingsley’s Attack On Her Niece, Alexia Umansky

Beverly Hills native Kim Richards is reportedly blaming the daughter of her sister, Kyle Richards, for her dog’s, Kingsley’s, viscous attack.

In November, Alexia Umansky, daughter of Kyle and her husband, Mauricio, was attacked by Kingsley at Kim’s home, leaving her in need of multiple surgeries on her hand. Months later, the Beverly Hills reality star claims it was Umansky’s fault the dog attacked her.

According to an April 14 report by Radar Online, Kim has taken zero responsibility for the attack, and feels the incident was the result of Umansky’s own erratic behavior.

“Kim says Alexia’s sudden movement towards the pit bull, Kingsley, caused the dog to be startled and bite the teenager. Kim accepts absolutely no responsibility for the dog biting incident, which makes Kyle absolutely nuts. Kyle gets understandably very upset after Kim suggests that the dog bite was Alexia’s fault.”

Needless to say, Kyle, who stars alongside Kim on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, isn’t happy about her sister’s alleged claims, and feels she should take responsibility for the actions of her dog (who is also accused of attacking an elderly woman in early 2014, just months before he bit Umansky).

While most people who get rid of a dog who attacked a young family member, Kim has reportedly refused to allow the dog to be put down, or adopted by someone else, and is now living with the dog in Beverly Hills.

Immediately following the attack, Kingsley was taken to a facility for training, but ultimately, despite the dog’s history, Kim chose to have him return to her Beverly Hills home.

“The dog was returned to Kim, and absolutely nothing changed. If someone comes over to the house, Kingsley is locked up. It’s only a matter of time until the dog snaps and hurts another person, or even a small child.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, family and friends of Kim Richards have reportedly grown concerned about The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star’s mental health, and have urged her to seek treatment. According to Radar Online, Richards is currently under a lot of stress, including the drama surrounding Kingsley’s attack and her strained relationship with her sister, and needs to get the help of a professional rather than expose herself to a possible relapse — or worse.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ Season 5 reunion, Part 3 airs tonight on Bravo at 8 p.m.
