New ‘Daredevil’ Costume Now Available In ‘Marvel Heroes’ To Celebrate Netflix Series

Although some Daredevil fans have probably binged through the new Netflix series already, Marvel Heroes players can still celebrate the show’s release within the game. The action-RPG MMO supported officially by Marvel has included Daredevil for quite some time. Upon the release of Netflix‘s show centering on the masked man, Gazillion Entertainment kicked off a Marvel Knights sale and a Daredevil Celebration.

Until the next Marvel Heroes maintenance, likely on Friday, a Marvel Knights sale is underway in the free-to-play title’s in-game store. The sale was announced and detailed on the game’s official site late last week. Characters that have been a part of the Marvel Knights at some point in time are currently half off their normal cost, and nearly all of those heroes’ costumes are half off as well. Heroes and their costumes included in the sale are Black Panther, Black Widow, Daredevil, Dr. Strange, Ghost Rider, Luke Cage, Moon Knight, Punisher, Spider-Man, Venom, and Wolverine.

The sale is just one part of Marvel Heroes‘ festivity over the new show on Netflix. A Daredevil Celebration that buffs certain loot and Daredevil’s experience is ongoing. Players using Daredevil within the game can enjoy a 50 percent increase to their experience gain while Kingpin, Elektra, and Bullseye will all drop extra loot. Players will need to find Kingpin in his daily terminals for extra loot. Elektra and Bullseye will drop more loot when defeated in Midtown Manhattan. The Daredevil celebration and a number of changes to Daredevil’s unique items can be found in the latest patch notes for Marvel Heroes.

Not to mention, a new costume was announced on the official Twitter account for Marvel Heroes. Players using Daredevil can now purchase a costume modeled after the one found in “Daredevil: The Man Without Fear #4 (1993).” Viewers of Daredevil on Netflix will notice some similarities between the two, although there are some obvious differences. The Marvel Heroes costume uses Daredevil’s appearance from the comic as inspiration and sticks to it very closely.

All the Marvel Heroes players are no strangers to events and costume releases. The return of the game’s Big Ten event wrapped up just weeks ago — its kickoff reported by the Inquisitr and there is Odin’s Bounty event happening right now. Including the new Daredevil costume, four costumes have been released this month so far, two of which were enhanced female variants of Spider-Man and Punisher. Those costumes, since they are very new, are not currently part of the Marvel Knights sale.
