Watch IPL 2015 Sunrisers Hyderabad Vs. Chennai Super Kings Live Online Cricket, Streaming Free

Watch the fourth IPL 2015 match live online as Sunrisers Hyderabad face Chennai Super Kings in Chennai on Saturday. Whether you’re a cricket-crazy fan or merely cricket-curious, the Sunrisers vs. CSK match is the one to watch — because it will stream free online via ESPN3.

For viewers who would rather watch the match on cable television, ESPN2 will also broadcast the game, the only scheduled cricket broadcast on an ESPN TV network so far this year.

ESPN Cricket carries all 60 Indian Premier League matches live online, but for a subscription fee.

For those unfamiliar with the IPL, or with professional cricket, the league plays a format known as T20 cricket, a fast-paced format of the sport in which a typical contest lasts about three hours, roughly the same as an American baseball or football game. More traditional forms of cricket can last eight hours for one-day match, or — as in the case of international Test matches — be spread over several days.

In Chennai Super Kings, viewers who watch live online via ESPN3 will see the IPL’s most successful franchise, the team that has made the tournament’s final four every year since the IPL was founded in 2008. CSK, as the team is generally known, won back-to-back IPL championships in 2010 and 2011.

Captained by India national skipper MS Dhoni, Chennai Super Kings come into Saturday’s match off a thrilling, one-run victory Thursday over the Delhi Daredevils, in a match that came down to the final ball with Delhi needing a six to win.

But when Albie Morkel connected with a delivery from Chennai fast bowler Duane Bravo and sent it flying toward the boundary, the ball bounced just short, going for four, allowing Dhoni’s men to escape with just 151 runs to The Daredevils’ 150.

Just two days later, CSK must go up against what may be the IPL’s best bowling corps, with two of the world’s best fast bowlers spearheading the attack in New Zealand’s World Cup star Trent Boult, and South African veteran Dale Steyn.

India’s Ishant Sharma brings yet more pace while the two Kumars, Praveen and Bhuvneshwar, feature medium-fast swing styles.

Sunrisers made the IPL playoffs in 2013, the franchise’s first year in the league, but placed a sluggish sixth last year. The addition of another Kiwi, Kane Williamson, bolsters a batting attack that new captain David Warner hopes will score enough to let the bowlers lead Hyderabad back to the top four.
