Kandi Burruss Indicates She’s Still Mad At Phaedra Parks For Talking About Their Friendship Behind Her Back

It seems that Kandi Burruss still isn’t over Phaedra Parks talking about their friendship to their The Real Housewives of Atlanta co-stars, namely NeNe Leakes and Porsha Williams. In her latest blog post, posted on Monday, Kandi revealed whether she felt better about her friendship with Phaedra after their talk in the Philippines.

When asked if she felt better about her relationship with Phaedra after their talk, Kandi responded , “Yes, at the time I did.” Kandi added that after everyone talked about their issues at the group dinner, the “vibe definitely changed for the better” and they “had a really great time after that.”

During their talk, Kandi directly asked Phaedra what she has been saying about their friendship to people to make them feel as if they’re going through problems. Phaedra said that she hasn’t said anything but people have been calling her asking her if Kandi has contacted her during her drama with Apollo Nida. Phaedra told Kandi that she doesn’t invite her to things or call her anymore but she understands that Kandi is going through her own things.

The two ultimately chalked up the problem to things being “lost in translation” and agreed to communicate more. Phaedra later told the camera that she’s willing to overlook Kandi letting her down.

“I’m fine with Kandi. In any relationship there’s going to be moments where you’re disappointed and you want more than the other person is willing to give. That’s just life. And I’m big enough to accept it and, you know, our friendship is strong enough to move past it.”

Kandi’s response that she felt better about her relationship with Phaedra after their talk “at the time” hints that Kandi’s feelings have changed after she watched some of the recent episodes in which Phaedra agreed with NeNe and Porsha that Kandi hasn’t been supportive enough. Phaedra has repeatedly said that NeNe, not Kandi, has been the most supportive and that she’s disappointed in Kandi’s absence. In one episode, Phaedra even said that it’s during tough times that you really see who your true friends are. Phaedra’s latest comment about Kandi not putting in the same effort likely hasn’t helped things.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr , while watching the latest episodes, Kandi has made clear her displeasure with Phaedra . She tweeted that Phaedra, instead of talking to others about their friendship, should have talked to her first. Kandi also wrote in one blog post that she has been loyal to Phaedra and defended her against her critics, including Todd Tucker.

While they were talking about me being a bad friend I had no idea that Phaedra felt that way. Shouldn’t she have told me instead of them?

The season 7 The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion show filmed last Friday. Andy Cohen probably brought up the issue of Kandi Burruss and Phaedra Parks’ friendship. Judging by Kandi’s latest comment regarding her friendship with Phaedra, it seems that there’s still some unresolved business between them.
