‘Real Housewives’ Reunion: NeNe Leakes Reportedly Stormed Off Set In Atlanta

The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s Season 7 reunion was filmed in Georgia last week, and already, details about the dramatic taping have been leaked. In the latest news, a source claimed NeNe Leakes stormed off set during filming of the upcoming episode.

“NeNe completely broke down. She was crying, and then she walked off!” an on-set source revealed to Radar Online on March 30.

“When she stepped out, she was gone for about an hour. It was typical housewife dramatics!”

According to a second Radar Online source, Leakes’ Real Housewives reunion exit was the result of her on-screen therapy session with Dr. Jeff. During filming on the Real Housewives reunion, the doctor made an appearance, and immediately, things between him and Leakes reportedly became emotional. As fans will recall, Leakes had a therapy session with her co-stars during Season 7, but chose to leave early, as opposed to addressing her issues.

“When Dr. Jeff appeared, he said something to NeNe, and it made her start crying.”

Although Leakes was gone from set for a substantial amount of time, she eventually rejoined her Real Housewives co-stars. Then, later that night, the Real Housewives star surfaced on Facebook, where she shared a telling message with fans.

“Sometimes it’s only my fear of prison food that stops me.”

Leakes has been starring on The Real Housewives of Atlanta since the show’s first season, but recently, she’s hinted that she’s ready to move on. After seven seasons, and several new Real Housewives stars, including Kenya Moore, Porsha Williams, Claudia Jordan, and Demetria McKinney, Leakes may have reached her limit with reality television drama.

Reading Leakes’ Real Housewives blogs and following her latest interviews makes it clear that she’s not happy with the direction the show is heading and struggles with how it affects her life both on-screen and off.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Leakes may move on from the Real Housewives franchise with a series of her own on the Oxygen Network. Earlier this month, a LALATE source revealed Leakes had recently wrapped filming on testimonials for the yet-to-be-confirmed series.

At the time of the report, no details were given in regard to the name or format of the Real Housewives star’s possible show. It was also not revealed whether or not the show would be a reality series or talk show.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs on Sundays at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
