Watch ‘WrestleMania 31’ Live Online: Start Time, Streaming Video Links, And Match Schedule For ‘WrestleMania’
Fans who want to watch WrestleMania 31 live online are in luck, as the WWE is offering plenty of options for streaming the year’s biggest wrestling event on computers, tablets, and many other devices.
Start time for WrestleMania 31 is 7 p.m. ET on Sunday. The event takes place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, making it just the sixth WrestleMania to take place at an outdoor venue.
WrestleMania 31 comes after one of the most eventful years in WWE history, which included the departure of one of its biggest names in CM Punk, and a stock dive that led to rumors that Vince McMahon would be removed as head of the WWE.
The lead-up to WrestleMania 31 has brought some criticism as well, with fans openly booing Roman Reigns when he won the Royal Rumble and earning a shot at Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania.
But the WWE did retain a bit of momentum this week when Lesnar put an end to speculation he would return to MMA, and instead re-signed with the WWE.
“While many complained about the ‘build’ to this WrestleMania being tepid in the eyes of some, the game changed drastically when Lesnar declared his intentions [to stay in WWE by signing a new contract] on ESPN [on the] Tuesday [before WrestleMania],” said longtime WWE announcer Jim Ross (via PWTorch).
While 2014 saw its share of lows, it also brought a new dimension for fans. Last year, the WWE also rolled out its new WWE Network, a subscription-based streaming service offering both new and archived content. Despite a somewhat shaky rollout, the network has been a success, with the New York Times saying the WWE “positioned themselves on the cutting edge of Internet television.”
For wrestling fans who want to watch WrestleMania 31 live online, the WWE Network offers the best — and cheapest — way to watch the entire event. Viewers who want to watch the event for free will be out of luck, as there are no free options (at least, no legal ones) for watching the WWE’s biggest event. But the WWE Network offers a great deal, with a $9.99 monthly fee that includes all Pay Per View events and the ability to cancel at any time.
