Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise are reportedly not on speaking terms anymore, with Holmes upset that Cruise has been busy working lately and hasn't spent much time with their daughter Suri.
According to TMZ, the former couple have been handling everything through an intermediary while Cruise is in London working on Mission Impossible 5.
Holmes and Cruise have been notoriously private about their relationship and the demise of it, but Holmes did give an interview to People Magazine in 2012 in which she talked about her desire to move on from the insane amount of press and headlines she received while married to the action star.
"I don't want that moment in my life to define me, to be who I am. I don't want that to be what I'm known as. I was an actor before, an actor during and an actor now. I don't have any fear now, I don't have a lot of rules for myself, and I don't take myself that seriously," Katie said.
It's not clear whether Holmes and Cruise have really stopped speaking, but that's not the only rumor the actress has been the subject of lately; several media outlets have reported that she's dating Jamie Foxx and that the duo have been getting serious. However, a source told People that they're just friends.
"This is not some intense romance. Jamie and Katie are friends and have been for a long time. They are two adults who are attractive and single, and so apparently conclusions will be drawn. But contrary to those conclusions, they're not about to run off and make some serious commitment."
After Us Weekly published a photo of the actors sitting across from one another and holding hands, the rumors really took off online. But the L.A. Times says that the photo was taken at a read-through for an animated movie, and that they weren't alone in the room.
Holmes told People last year that she's open to finding love again no matter what may have happened beween her and Cruise.
"I'm a very loving person. Of course I'm open to finding love again," Katie Holmes said.
Meanwhile, Cruise recently put his Hollywood Hills home up for sale; the 2.5-acre spread was reportedly listed for around $13 million. According to AOL's real estate blog, the parcel includes a "European-style main house featuring walls of glass overlooking city lights, a living room with vaulted ceilings and a fireplace, and three bedroom-bathroom suites." The home is rumored to have been used as a Scientology compound.
