Sarah Jessica Parker Sells $25 Million Home, Shows Off Bikini Bod In Turks And Caicos
Sarah Jessica Parker and hubby Matthew Broderick have finally sold their NYC town home that had been listed for a two-year period for $25 million.
The couple is known for being persistent real estate hunters and for placing their 20 East 10th Street home on the market two and a half years ago — a property which the star couple simply renovated and never actually lived in, according to NY Curbed. As the publication notes, the estate is quite lavish, as one might expect with such a hefty price tag attached. With five stories and the added space of a finished basement, the property “measures 6,800 square feet, and features eight fireplaces, a landscaped garden, six bedrooms, and full-floor family room with an office.”
Although the couple’s broker Frederik Eklund did announce the final sale of the NYC home, the amount it finally went for was a tad less than the price Parker and Broderick originally were asking. Chopped first to $22 million, the beautiful home was eventually purchased for $19.95 million — only $1 million more than the couple had purchased it for back 2011.
NY Daily recently reminded that “Parker’s Sex and the City character Carrie Bradshaw once said that, ‘In New York, you’re always looking for a job, a boyfriend or an apartment.'” However, the publication has rightly noted that Sarah Jessica Parker has never seemed to have a problem finding any of those items Carrie was in constant search of.
To celebrate the long-awaited sale of their Greenwich Village home, Sarah and Matthew found themselves heading to Turks and Caicos for a little sun and sand. Sarah Jessica Parker was photographed with a golden tan and showcasing a body that remains just as fit as it was back in her early acting days.
On Friday, Parker posted gorgeous pics via Instagram of herself in a black one piece that was, as the Daily Mail indicated, a Malia Mills. She was looking as toned as ever.
The 49-year-old captioned the snap of herself with a humorous line.
“I’m terrifically surprised at the progress I’m making, 8 more days til this kayak delivers me and the @sjpcollection to @nordstromPR in San Juan. X, Sj.”
Parker, as always, has got a lot going on. From property sales to renovations at her fashion office in New York and the management of those SJP collections offices in New York, it’s no wonder her and the fam, including 52-year-old husband, Matthew Broderick, son James Wilke and five-year-old twins, Marion and Tabitha, maintain a hectic schedule.
