It’s not that everyone does not have a little soft spot for the characters in Frozen, but it looks like you will have to attend a few more Frozen, fancy dress parties and have more merchandise busting out of the bedrooms.
“After months of speculation, Bob Iger, John Lasseter and actor Josh Gad (voice of Olaf) announced from the stage that Frozen 2 is officially in development at Walt Disney Animation Studios. The film will reunite the Oscar-winning filmmaking team behind Frozen, including director Chris Buck, director/writer Jennifer Lee and producer Peter Del Vecho. A release date and production details are yet to be announced.”
The phenomenon that is Frozen has the perfect balance of cute and clever, that allows kids to express themselves in a way that hurts no one and leaves everyone scolded appropriately. It expresses the idea that we should all just let it go and be more tolerant of each other.
Disney Animated Studios have also added Frozen to their cruise offer, so if your kids will not let it go, you can always plan a trip to the wonderful world that is Frozen.
“Disney Cruise Line announced that beginning in summer 2015, guests can immerse themselves in the animated hit Frozen with brand-new experiences inspired by the film including a spectacular deck party, a three-song stage show production number, new character meet and greets, storybook adventures ashore and more. On select Disney Magic and Disney Wonder sailings to Europe and Alaska, Disney Cruise Line guests will be transported to the land of Frozen when the ship is transformed into a winter wonderland”
There is no doubt that Frozen is here to stay, so any idea of escaping the phenomenon, let it go. If you are a parent or guardian with younger kids, then all we can say is prepare yourself for the next chapter in Frozen 2.
