Adele Wins 2012 Grammy For Song Of The Year


Adele was Rolling in the Deep frenzy of Grammy Award glory on Sunday night when she won the song of the year award, her fourth Grammy on the night.

Rolling in the Deep was a number one hit for Adele and helped her turn in the album’s top-selling album of 2011.

The Grammy award winning song was written by Adele and Paul Epworth and he also managed to pick up the award for best producer of the year in the non-classical category.

Adele has had an amazing year with her album 21 selling more than 6.3 million copies in he U.S. while spending 19 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard album chart. The album includes the immediately recognizable songs “Rolling in the Deep,” “Somebody Like You” and “Set Fire to the Rain.”

Taking to the stage during the pre-recorded portion of the show Adele took some time to thanks her doctors who performed surgery on her failing vocal chords which were damaged from singing and cigarettes.
