Kate Middleton and Prince William have allegedly placed an advert looking for a housekeeper, just ahead of the birth of their second child.
33-year-old Kate Middleton, who is currently eight months pregnant, and her 32-year-old husband, who also happens to be the second in line to the British monarchy, have reportedly placed an advert in The Lady, which, according to People, is an upscale magazine for “elegant women with elegant minds.”
The pair are looking for someone who will assist their needs in their grand country house in Norfolk, which is called Anmer Hall.
The advert, which also insists that “discretion and loyalty is paramount,” reportedly declares that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are looking for an individual who works well with children and dogs, while they also must be discreet, loyal and be willing to glide around the pair’s ten-bedroom country home.
The successful candidate will have to work closely with Prince George, who was born in July 2013, while they will also have a new infant child to deal with by the end of April too. The Duke and Duchess Of Cambridge also have a spaniel by the name of Lupo.
The ad reads, via the Mirror, “Housekeeper sought for a large family home in Norfolk. We are looking for someone with previous housekeeping experience, ideally within a large private house, and preferably within a family environment with dogs.”
The aforementioned publication also reported that the advert lists the main duties of the cleaner as “cleaning all areas of the house to a high standard; caring for and maintaining the home owners’ clothing; cleaning silverware and glassware; purchasing groceries and general provisions for the house; and dealing with deliveries.”
The applicant will work from Monday to Friday, while accommodation for a couple will also be provided.
Kate Middleton and Prince William already have a nanny in the shape of Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo, while their London home at Kensington Palace’s housekeeper is 43-year-old Antonella Fresolone.
Middleton and Prince William had a very busy week, as the pair attended a variety of functions, including a tribute to the troops in Afghanistan, while the Duchess of Cambridge also visited the set of Downton Abbey, where its creator, Julian Fellowes, insisted that she was one of the reasons for the programmes success.
Middleton is set to make her final public appearance before she gives birth next week when she attends a St Patrick’s Day service on Tuesday.
