‘The Walking Dead’ Spoilers: Carol Bakes More Cookies, Tells Rick To Do Something Crazy

Fans of The Walking Dead should be really worried about Sam, the little boy who got on Carol Peletier’s bad side by threatening to spill her gun-stealing secret. However, Jessie’s sneaky son isn’t in any danger of being tied to a tree or being asked to look at the flowers — viewers will soon find out that Carol isn’t the Alexandria resident who the kid needs to fear. Before you read on, be forewarned that spoilers for this week’s episode of The Walking Dead are ahead.

According to recent spoilers that were so generously spilled on the Spoiling Dead Fans Facebook page, Sam won’t recoil in horror every time he encounters “killer Keebler elf” Carol — he’s not going to let that scary gun room story stop him from taking her up on her unlimited cookies offer. In fact, during this week’s episode of The Walking Dead (titled “Spend”), Sam actually risks his life by sneaking into Carol’s house in search of the sweets. Of course she catches him, but instead of dragging Sam home to his parents and tattling on him, she encourages his juvenile delinquency by telling him to steal a bar of chocolate for her special zombie apocalypse cookies (they’re to die for!).

Spending quality time with one of The Walking Dead‘s most dangerous characters might actually end up benefiting Sam in more ways than one — in addition to gaining cookies, he might get rid of an abusive parent. While Sam and Carol bond over baking, Carol will start to suspect that Sam’s father, Pete, is abusing him. Of course Carol goes straight to Constable Rick Grimes with this information, but she’s not interested in locking Pete up — she tells Rick that he needs to kill Pete, and the sex-starved survivor is so smitten with Jessie that he just might consider it.

Anyone would want to remain on Carol’s good side during the zombie apocalypse, and Jessie actress Alexandra Breckenridge is hoping that her character will eventually befriend the “wolf in housewife’s clothing.” During an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Breckenridge talked about how she would like to see Carol and Jessie bonding over their experiences with abusive husbands.

“We’ll see where that goes. I hope they connect on that level because they would find some camaraderie in their similar experiences.”

Carol might just get her floral-print cardigan dirty by killing Pete herself if she and Jessie become fast friends. She definitely won’t wait around for Rick to weigh the consequences of killing Alexandria’s doctor — she likes to get rid of problems as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Unfortunately, Pete won’t be the survivors’ biggest problem on this week’s episode of The Walking Dead. As the Inquisitr previously reported, there will be two major deaths. To make matters worse, Father Gabriel is going to do something horrible to make sure that his dirty little secret stays safe — he’s going to try to get Rick Grimes’ group kicked out of Alexandria by telling Deanna that they’re evil people who have done “unspeakable things.” Luckily, Maggie will overhear this conversation, so she’ll be able to warn the other survivors. They’re definitely going to regret saving Father Gabriel’s life and letting him tag along with them after they learn of his treachery.

The next episode of The Walking Dead airs Sunday at 9 p.m. ET on AMC. You can check out Rick having a creepy conversation with Pete in the sneak peek below.
