As Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger get increasingly serious, the pop princess’ ability to get the official stamp of approval from his mom, Maria Shriver, and dad, Arnold Schwarzenegger, becomes increasingly essential. With murmurs of marriage coming from the happy couple, will those political parents really allow controversial Miley to become an official member of the family? Maybe, reports TMZ.
In particular, sources revealed that Miley recognizes Maria’s conservative attitude. To honor it, she’s created a dress-down wardrobe to wear when she’s with Shriver.
As for Arnold? He plays a less important role in influencing Patrick’s future after the scandal created over his affairs, according to Entertainment Wise. Patrick is much closer to his mother.
And Patrick’s big sister, Katherine, is charmed by the couple.
“I think they’re adorable,” declared the doting sister. “I mean if my brother’s happy then I’m happy and so that’s all that matters to me. You just want your siblings to be happy so if they’re with someone that makes them happy in a happy and healthy relationship then I’m happy.”
With Miley an inevitable target for tabloids, however, she and Patrick have had to cope with rumors that she’s pregnant. As the Inquisitr reported, Cyrus decided to fire back by crafting a parody of herself pregnant with a “pizza baby.”

For Miley and Patrick, ignoring the rumors and focusing on romance may become increasingly challenging, however, as the two appear more frequently in public, reported the Daily Mail.
Because of Miley’s “Wrecking Ball” and twerking career, Maria initially did not approve of the relationship for her 21-year-old son. When Patrick reportedly wanted to bring his 22-year-old pop singer girlfriend to the Kennedy family’s famous Christmas holiday party, Maria blocked the invitation.
In contrast, Arnold has been upbeat about the romance, even joining Miley and Patrick for their New Year date in Las Vegas.
So will the two become officially engaged? If so, Patrick will become Miley’s second fiance. She initially accepted actor Liam Hemsworth’s proposal when she was 19-years-old.
Does Miley regret that past romance? Not at all, she declared, emphasizing that she enjoyed flashing Liam’s 3.5-carat engagement ring.
“I don’t think I realized what 19 truly is, and I got engaged at 19, and I definitely wouldn’t change being engaged. It was so fun wearing a fat rock for a few years.”
