McDonald’s Fight Video: Brooklyn High School Girl Viciously Beaten, Refuses To Cooperate With Police
A 16-year-old high school student was arrested after video of an altercation at a McDonald’s in Brooklyn became viral.
The McDonald’s fight video shows an altercation between two teenage girls become a full-on brawl after the friends of one of the girls took part in beating the other girl. The 16-year-old girl who was arrested is named Aniah Ferguson. Ferguson is charged with robbery in the second degree and gang assault. The victim suffered serious injuries, but was eventually released.
“We don’t know the origin of the fight right now,” said chief of detectives Robert K. Boyce. “We’ll try to figure it out as we go along.”

Paul Goodman, the McDonald’s franchisee, released a statement, saying, “The safety of my employees and customers is my top priority. In keeping with my restaurant policy, my employees contacted the police at the onset of this situation. As part of the Flatbush community, I will continue to work with the NYPD and community leaders to ensure the safety of customers. Since this is now a under police investigation it would be inappropriate for me to comment further.”
The teenagers involved in the altercation attend Erasmus High School, which is located near the McDonald’s. The New York City Education Department released a statement saying that they’ll look into the matter.
“The actions in this video are abhorrent, and our primary concern right now is for the well-being of the student,” said Jason Fink, a department spokesman.
Even Police Commissioner Bill Bratton spoke out against the brutal incident, saying, “That type of behavior is not acceptable in any society, and certainly is not going to be acceptable here in New York.”
New York Mayor Bill de Blasio himself denounced the incident, saying, “The young ladies should be prosecuted and I believe the video evidence may be sufficient for that.”
It is believed that the perpetrators of the fight are part of a gang called The Young Savages, and that one of the girls who was arrested has a long rap sheet.
The victim initially declined to cooperate with the police regarding their investigation into the incident. However, in a shocking turn of events, the victim identified as Ariana Taylor took to social media to brag about her newfound fame. According to her posts on social media, she wasn’t really injured during the fight. She also disputed initial media reports claiming to have spoken to her grandmother.
